Muir’s Marble Works Ltd. Has been a tremendous supporter of our Work Experience Program at St. Kevin’s High School in the Goulds.

Since 1982, Eddy Howlett and his team have graciously taken several of our Co-Op students under their wing, and have provided for them an opportunity to gain exposure to their business and to learn “the tricks of the trade”.

Always showing patience and concern, Eddy has been one of our leading employers, helping the students to develop the skills needed for them to enter the working world. In fact, Muir’s has hired several of our students over the years, one of which continues to work there as shop foreman.

The support for St. Kevin’s does not end there. Eddy and his business generously offer scholarship funding to our school on an annual basis, and last year made a donation to the Student’s Against Drunk Driving chapter by erecting a bench in front of our building.

On behalf of the students of St. Kevin’s and the administration of our school, I would like to publicly thank Mr. Eddy Howlett and Muir’s Marble Works Ltd. for their very generous support over the last twenty-five years.
